Prices
All agreements on www.kajakhotellet.dk are concluded in Danish, and all prices in Kajakhotellet's webshop are stated incl. 25% VAT.
VAT and delivery costs are specified on order confirmations and invoices. Our price guarantee/price match applies to competitors located in Jutland and islands with a fixed connection to Denmark. The price guarantee does not apply to online stores, special offers and discounted products. The conditions for the price guarantee apply: the product must be an identical product in both brand, product, color and size. The price guarantee does not apply to recreational leisure activities, such as courses, kayak, SUP and canoe rental and events, when the date or period has been agreed.
Order confirmation
When you have placed your order, we will send you an order confirmation by e-mail with information about the ordered item and the price including any delivery costs. We ask you to check that the order confirmation corresponds to what you expect.
It is not possible to subsequently call up the order confirmation on our website. If you wish to receive a copy of the order confirmation by e-mail, please send an email to info@kajakhotellet.dk
Payment
Trading in Kajakhotellet's webshop is based on payment when the item is delivered. This is usually done with Dankort, Visa card, Visa electron, Master Card or Mobilepay. We do not charge card fees.
If you pay by credit card, you are always protected against misuse. You have the option to reject a payment when you receive your payment summary. You have no deductible in the event that your card is misused in an online store that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system. This means you are better protected than in the physical world, where you have a deductible of DKK 1,200 when your Dankort is misused using the PIN code.
Reservation of amount
If you pay with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately.
The money is reserved on your card or account until:
1) we withdraw the amount when the activity begins, or
2) until the money is released according to agreement with your card issuer.
Applies to VISA, MasterCard, VISA Electron and possibly Mobilepay depending on which card type you have linked. The amount will be reserved on your account for up to 28-30 banking days or until we have withdrawn the money for your purchase. If an item is canceled, the amount will still be reserved on your account and cannot be removed by anyone other than your bank. The reservation expires automatically after 28-30 banking days depending on the card type.
Your card information is encrypted via the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, and unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction with Nets. Kayakhotellet does not have access to your card information.
VAT-registered companies and public institutions can obtain a credit agreement after prior agreement. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if a credit agreement is desired.

Complaint
When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Danish Sales Act apply to purchases of goods, but not services. This means that you generally do not have a 2-year right of complaint on services.

Right of withdrawal
According to the Consumer Contracts Act (Distance Selling Act), you as a consumer have the right to cancel a purchase for up to 14 days after you have received the goods. The right of withdrawal does not apply to recreational leisure activities such as courses, kayak rental, SUP rental, canoe rental, guided tours and events, when the date or period has been agreed.

Refund of the purchase amount:
If you use your cancellation guarantee, you have the option to cancel your booking up to 10 days before the booked date. This means that you will receive a refund of the payment, minus the 10% that the cancellation guarantee costs, without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notification of your decision to use your cancellation guarantee. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Information on which bank account the credited amount should be transferred to must be sent separately. The easiest way is to reply to the email you received with our order confirmation. Remember to state your exact name, address, registration number and account number.
Course cancellation, cancellation guarantee against illness/no-show
Registration for courses and course dates is binding, and no refunds will be given in the event of no-show, illness, or failed courses.
If you are prevented from attending before the course, it is possible to move the course if you have taken out a cancellation guarantee at the same time as you registered for the course. The cancellation guarantee costs 10% of the course price, but a minimum of DKK 100. The insurance gives you the opportunity to move the course date once. Illness/no-show must be reported no later than 24 hours before the course. You can move the course to a course on a later or earlier date (but no later than 12 months in advance). Any price difference must be paid if the course is more expensive, but will not be paid if the course is cheaper. The money cannot be refunded based on the cancellation guarantee. The cancellation guarantee is only valid if it is taken out and paid at the same time as you register for the course. If no cancellation guarantee is signed when booking a course, we cannot change the registration once it has been made.
Course cancellation / course relocation
We may have to change the course location to avoid course cancellations, be it weather conditions or too few registrations. If the course location and/or time is changed, you will be contacted by email or phone. If the course is canceled, we will try to notify you in the week leading up to the course.
If we cancel the course, it is always possible to get a refund or move the course to another date. In the event of a refund, the course price, as well as any unused cancellation guarantee, will be refunded.
Cancellation and change terms for rentals and cancellation guarantee for guided tours and kayak polo:
Rental:
Cancellation/change is not possible less than 48 hours before the event. If canceled less than 48 hours before the event, the full price will be paid. (72 hours after Friday 2:00 PM)
Reduction in the number of participants thereafter, whether notified or not, does not entitle you to a reduction in, or a refund of, the full price of the event.
Guided tours:
Registration for a guided tour is binding.
If you have purchased a cancellation guarantee at the same time as your booking, you have the option to cancel your booking up to 10 days before the booked date. This means that you will receive a refund of the payment, however, minus the 10% that the cancellation guarantee costs. If there are 10 days or less left, you have the option to rebook once within 12 months. You simply need to let us know no later than 24 hours before the tour. If there are 24 hours or less left, it is no longer possible to rebook. Any price difference must be paid if the tour is more expensive, but will not be paid if the tour is cheaper. The cancellation guarantee is only valid if it is purchased and paid for at the same time as you register for a guided tour.
Cancellation from the Kayakhotellet side:
We almost never cancel. Our motto is; There is never bad weather - only bad clothes. On the tours we find shelter under the bridges if there is a shower. In the event of a storm, or lightning and thunder and if the instructor deems it irresponsible to carry out the activity, we will provide a voucher that can be used later in the season.
Kayak Polo:
Registration for kayak polo is binding. If you have purchased a cancellation guarantee at the same time as your booking, you have the option to cancel your booking up to 10 days before the booked date. This means that you will get your payment back, minus the 10% that the cancellation guarantee costs. If there are 10 days or less left, you have the option to rebook once within 12 months. You just have to let us know no later than 24 hours before the booked date. This is also a condition of the Kayakhotellet's approval. If there are 24 hours or less left, it is no longer possible to rebook.
Reduction in the number of participants, notified or not, does not entitle to a reduction in, or refund of, the full price of the event. If there are more participants than stated when booking, a fee of DKK 120 per additional participant may be charged. The fee must cover the use of equipment and facilities. We reserve the right to refuse additional participants on busy days.
In the event of a storm, or lightning and thunder and if the instructor deems it irresponsible to carry out the activity, we will give a voucher that can be used later in the season or the amount will be refunded by agreement. In the event of a red flag (typically after a cloudburst), we will be forced to cancel.
Cancellation rules for Events:
Events are understood to mean corporate and private events that include several different activities that Kajakhotellet offers. For these events, a comprehensive offer is often given and where a cancellation guarantee is not purchased.
Cancellation/change is only possible up to 7 days before the event. This means that you will receive a refund. If cancelled less than 7 days before the event, the full price will be paid.
Reduction in the number of participants less than 7 days before the event, notified or not, does not entitle you to a reduction in, or refund of, the full price of the event.
Complaints
If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, please contact Kajakhotellet by phone +45 3615 1610 or by email info@kajakhotellet.dk. If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaints Portal for Nævnenes Hus.
In order to be able to complain, the product or service you want to complain about must have cost at least DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. For complaints about clothing and shoes, however, the price must have been at least DKK 720. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.
